ABOUT

HYWATER is a modern rock band hailing from Niagara Falls, NY.

Their music boasts a modern-meets-vintage rock sound that draws inspiration from bands such as Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, and Foo Fighters.

The band’s knack for creating straightforward and accessible rock music has continued with the release of their single “Hindsight,” which was released worldwide to all major streaming platforms on May 9, 2025.

"Hindsight" was preceded by the release of the song “Up in the Air,” from their debut EP “This Way Up” in 2023. The song was on the 2024 Grammy Ballot for the category of Best Rock Performance.

The songs have received airplay on several radio stations across the country and have been played in rotation on 91.3 WBNY-FM in Buffalo, NY and 97.3 KGRR-FM in Dubuque, IA amongst others.

Following the release of "Hindsight," the band embarked on the "Next Time" 2025 Summer Tour which culminated in opening for legendary rock band Kansas as direct support at the Rockin' the Downs Concert Series at Batavia Downs in Batavia, NY.

HYWATER has also graced the stage with numerous notable rock acts including Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist Don Felder (formerly of the Eagles), Marcy Playground, Deep Blue Something, Fred Mascherinio (Taking Back Sunday), “Monsters of Rock Tour” alum Kingdom Come, and The Tubes.

The band has proven to be a regional favorite with performances at the Emerging Sounds Showcase, sponsored by 91.3 FM The Summit, at the Rialto Theatre in Akron, OH and as a part of the 10th annual Federal Frenzy Festival lineup at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH.
